Frequently asked questions.
What kind of service does That's A Good Sit provide?
At That's A Good Sit, we are committed to providing either overnight sitting services in your home or as many drop-in visits as you wish.
What is the duration of That's A Good Sit drop in visits?
A single drop in visit lasts 30-minutes. If you wish to request more time, then we are happy to provide extended care for an additional charge.
What is the That's A Good Sit cancellation policy?
That's A Good Sit requests that you cancel your booking within 7-days of your departure. If a cancellation is not made within the 7-day timeframe, then That's A Good Sit is only able to reimburse 50% of the service.
How do I pay for my That's A Good Sit service?
All transactions are made through That's A Good Sit’s venmo business account. Once you receive an invoice, you will be directed to the That's A Good Sit venmo account by using a QR code link.
Do I get to meet my That's A Good Sit sitter prior to them being in my home?
Yes, That's A Good Sit requires all of our sitters to schedule an in-person meet and greet prior to your requested sitting service. The That's A Good Sit sitter that fills your request will reach out to families directly to schedule their in-person meet and greet. Please give sitters 3-4 days to reach out to schedule the meet and greet.
What happens if I haven't heard from my That's A Good Sit sitter within the 3-4 days to schedule a meet and greet?
Please reach out to petagoniaatx@petagoniaatx.com or where you submitted your original booking request to let That's A Good Sit know that you haven't heard from your designated sitter.
Does That's A Good Sit bill by the number of nights we will be gone or by the day?
That's A Good Sit bills by the number of days you will be gone, not by the single evening. Our sitters commit to providing extended care that goes beyond just staying overnight at your home.
Is That's A Good Sit committing to providing 24/7 in-home care?
No, please note that our sitters are not committing to being in your home for 24/hours a day. While many of our sitters do have remote jobs and are able to be home during the day, some are University students or have jobs outside of pet sitting. We are committed to NOT leaving your animals at home for extended periods of time.
If my animals need attention during the day or beyond overnight sitting, how do I make sure someone will be home?
When submitting a booking request, please clearly communicate the care your animal will need. That's A Good Sit can work with you to place you with a remote working sitter, depending on availability.
